Some notes, resources and tools we may want to use for our sub-committee:

Robbie Melton & Karen Nichols:

Diversity, Equity, Inclusiveness: Developing and implementing strategies serve diverse populations to achieve equitable outcomes through inclusive processes

  1. Sample Goals:

Training and Professional Development Outcomes

  • Faculty/staff engaged in equitable work practices, such as designing and delivering programs in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, and are committed to DEI goals.
  • A core group of DEI subject matter experts has been established to support training and professional development implementation.
  • Faculty/staff have received DEI training and are prepared to establish these principles as core priorities for how the mission is carried out.
  • Faculty/staff are able to identify and reduce implicit bias and systemic inequities.

I found this resource page on DEI published by CCCOER. They have many resources and topics discussing DEI.
