Introducing myself as part of Peer Reviewer Training

Thank you for allowing me to join the group.  My name is Dr. Melissa Brown and I have what I consider two specialty areas.  The first is pancreatic islet transplantation for the treatment of diabetes as well as other avenues of potential beta cell expansion possibilities.  The second is nutrition.  I am on faculty at UMass Amherst and I contract with other institutions as well to teach various nutrition courses from undergrad to grad to med students.  Looking forward to the remainder of the training (FYI, I am completing the training asynchronously).
