Introductions

[Cynthia Tysick]

Hello Everyone,

I'm Cindi Tysick, a librarian at the University at Buffalo.  I specialize in teaching basic information literacy to undergraduates and advanced research literacy to archaeology, anthropology, communication and classical studies students.  I create and deliver much of my instruction online.  I'm a Sloan Certified, now OLC, online teacher who specializes in experiential learning in an online environment. I'm looking forward to leading efforts to launch Affordable Learning Solutions on my campus given the fact that the State University of New York's OPEN SUNY became ALS system partners.  I wanted to really contribute to the back end of Merlot and become part of this exciting community.
