MERLOT Voices

Putting Educational Innovations into Practice.

Hello, classmates and other distinguished members of Merlot Voices. I am Shonda Agbor, a student at Texas A&M University at Commerce, Texas. I am enrolled in the Master of Science degree program in Global eLearning. I am also an English teacher for grades 9-12 in a suburban school district near Dallas, Texas. I am interested in becoming a Merlot Peer Reviewer because it is an entrance into a scholarly group that upholds high academic standards of work. Becoming a reviewer will help strengthen my ability to assess the work of others, as well as enhance my ability to prepare and submit scholarly work. I expect to learn how to review the work of my peers, as well as create my own submissions as a result of Grape Camp.

Nice to meet you Shonda, and this information will definitely gain you the access to information needed to become the expert reviewer in any field of study. Being an English teacher you will have access to many different types of content and you could get ideas for classroom peer review sessions to prepare your students for college. Good luck in your camp conclusion.

Hi Shonda! Yes, I am excited about being a Merlot Peer Reviewer too. I agree, this opportunity will strengthen our ability to assess the work of others. I look forward to working with you.
