MERLOT Voices

Putting Educational Innovations into Practice.

While at the MIC 09, one of the speakers mentioned this list of peer-reviewed journals that folks like ourselves can fare better at achieving publishing in. During our last Task Force teleconference, Carol mentioned she was interested so Pam suggested I post these in Voices -- so here they are:

1) Journal of On-line Teaching & Learning (JOLT) www.jolt.com
2) Virtual Center for On-Line Learning and Research (not sure of the acronymn)
3) Journal of Visualized Experiments (JOVE) www.jove.com (This journal features experimental demonstration in video vignettes!)
4) Public Library of Science (PLOS)
5) International Journal of Learning & Media (IJLM)
6) Vectors (kind of an "out-there" publication) but worthwhile according to the plenary speaker. www.vectors.usc.edu
7) Journal of Academic Intersections (This one ties the interdisciplinary approaches including media; pedagogy, technology and a variety of disciplines together).

Well there's a few!
