Will shortening the review time given to the reviewer help in completing the process in quick time?

I was just wondering loud.  I find a lot of articles in the field of medicine needs to be reviewed and screened.  Can we shorten the time to about 4 days for a reviewer so that the screening process can be completed.  Detailed review can then be made for quality articles alone.
