My name is Gerry Hanley.   I am the Executive Director of MERLOT and it is an honor to work with you under the wonderful leadership of Moustapha Diack.   My goal is to help each and everyone  of you to succeed in your ambitions, completing your PhD's, and becoming leaders in the world of education.  MERLOT is a community that you can leverage to achieve your goals.    I am also a Professor of Psychology (Cognitive Psychology) at the California State University, Long Beach, Assistance Vice Chancellor of Academic Technology Services at the California State University, Office of the Chancellor, and the Director of the Center for Usability in Design and Accessibility at CSU, Long Beach.
