The MERLOT 2013 Leadership Council is running a "flipped" and blended meeting on April 8th from 1-5 pm in Las Vegas, NV. Meeting participants can review the presentations before the meeting and we'll be having group discussions at the meeting (see agenda).

I really like the new student portal for MERLOT. Any ideas how I can get my colleagues to see that it is useful to students?
Hi Sally! Thanks for your message. My recommendation is to talk the position of a reference librarian. When students are looking for materials that will help them learn course content - and they don't have money to buy the new textbook - they can find free/open e-textbooks, free/open online courses, and free online course modules. Use the Affordable Learning Solutions strategy
