Brittany it nice to meet you. I attended a special workshop in Tennessee where your President and Director of Sales where the featured guests. Our Associate of Chancellor for eLearning, Dr. Robbie Melton, is working closely with your colleagues to provide SoftChalk for TBR. I hoping to start working with the application pretty soon.

Hi Patrick! It's nice to "meet" you as well! I'm excited to hear that TBR is in the process of proving SoftChalk. Please let me know how you like SoftChalk once you start working with it.

Also, if you are interested, we have an online community and learning object repository, SoftChalk CONNECT where you can share your SoftChalk content and find other content to use. Check it out if you have chance.

Late notice, but we have a webinar on how SoftChalk works with MERLOT today at 3PM ET.

Learn how you can use MERLOT and SoftChalk to author and publish Open Education Resources (OER) under creative commons licensing. We will demonstrate how easy it is to search, discover, and integrate MERLOT digital content into media-rich lessons using SoftChalk. You will also see how to publish SoftChalk activities, lessons and eCourses to SoftChalk CONNECT, SoftChalk's new cloud-based learning object repository. Once your learning content is hosted on CONNECT, you can easily publish it into MERLOT, and share it with the entire MERLOT community.

There's still time to register: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/736032000

Did you attend the MERLOT/SoftChalk webinar today? If so, what did you think?
Comment by Patrick Davis on October 27, 2010 at 2:18pm
I did not get to review the entire seminar. Was the seminar recorded?
Comment by Brittany Mullins on October 27, 2010 at 2:22pm
Hi Patrick - the seminar was recorded and should be available tomorrow. I will post a link to the archive here!
