I am professor of Science/Math Education affiliated with the Doctoral program in Science/Math Education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. My ares of research are in the field of learning technology and online learning design, delivery and assessment. I am originally from, Senegal, West Africa. I am Director of the MERLOT Africa Network and also member of the MERLOT Faculty Development Editorial Board. I have been with organization since its inception, representing the State of Louisiana.

Through my organization the Cradle of Jazz Project, I am working towards cross-cultural education between West African musician students and Western musician students.
